FTP common issues

In general, if you have encountered problems while using your FTP client, there is a few critical aspects to look into.

1. your disk quota full. Make sure you have enough disk space left with your FTP account.

2. you need to turn on PASV option. If you are accessing behind a firewall or NAT network, you need to turn the PASV option on explicitly. If you are not sure the kind of network that you are in, turning it on is a good idea.

3. your ftp.your-domain.com is not reachable. This is possible if you have just migrated the domain, or for some reason the domain just isn't available. Use ftp.agnx.com instead.

Also, don't forget to verify:

1. your FTP login name and password.

2. your account validity.

The FTP details are within Admin Control Panel and available under Resource Management.

You may retrieve your Admin password:
1. go to http://www.yourdomain.com.my/login
2. click on Login
3. click Reset Password
4. key in This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
5. cleck Request and the password will be sent to your alternative email

Once getting hold of the password, you may:
1. Go to <http://www.yourdomain.com.my/login/>
3. Key in your details Admin Control Panel User ID and Password:
Login Name : avomaster
Password: "your password"
